Tianjin Juilliard Pre-College is a non-degree granting program and is intended as a supplement to our students’ full-time, Monday-Friday academic education. We anticipate that most of our students will commute each weekend, from near or far, while staying enrolled in their current weekday school.
Tianjin Juilliard Pre-College will accept Chinese nationals as well as international students. The Pre-College program does not grant visas to international students or provide study registration to domestic students since the program is non-degree granting. Those who are planning on relocating in order to attend the Pre-College should arrange their own weekday full-time study and visa if necessary.
In the first year (Fall 2019 - Spring 2020), Pre-College classes will be temporarily held at the campus of the Tianjin Conservatory of Music, downtown in the city-center of Tianjin. Starting in September 2020, the Pre-College and Graduate Studies will be held in our permanent home in Yujiapu. Our campus is located directly outside the entrance to the Binhai high-speed railway station (formerly the Yujiapu Station). Both the temporary location in the city-center and the permanent campus in Yujiapu are very accessible by high-speed rail, allowing students from a large geographic area to commute. For students who will fly in from more distant places each week, frequent flights into Beijing and Tianjin airports can easily connect students to both campuses.
